Sales Executive
As a key revenue leader, the Sales Executive plays a vital role in driving the growth of DeepNet’s client base by identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities in the SMB and mid-market segments. This role directly contributes to the company’s success by developing sales strategies, managing the end-to-end sales pipeline, and building strong client relationships that lead to long-term partnerships. The Sales Executive reports to the CEO, or Marketing Manager.

Sales Executive Objectives & Responsibilities:
OBJECTIVE: Drive revenue growth through strategic sales execution:
- Oversee and support full-cycle sales activities including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing.
- Identify and target ideal customer profiles across industries to drive business development efforts.
- Leverage CRM data and reporting to manage pipeline and forecast revenue accurately.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at prospective client organizations.
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to refine messaging, proposals, and service offerings based on client needs.
- Represent DeepNet at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to generate leads.
- Maintain a deep understanding of DeepNet’s service offerings and continuously educate clients on evolving capabilities.
OBJECTIVE: Improve client acquisition strategy and sales processes
- Manage and support the evaluation and optimization of sales processes, tools, and workflows.
- Continuously assess and refine sales playbooks, discovery frameworks, and demo strategies.
- Introduce structured approaches for cross-selling and upselling existing client accounts.
- Use client and market feedback to inform product/service enhancements and competitive positioning.
OBJECTIVE: Contribute to team development and cross-departmental alignment
- Participate in weekly team meetings and quarterly planning sessions to align sales goals with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with service delivery and customer success teams to ensure a smooth handoff and exceptional client onboarding experience.

Competencies for Success
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in IT services, SaaS, or MSP environments
- Proven track record of exceeding quota in a high-velocity sales environment
- Deep understanding of consultative sales approaches and the IT services buyer journey
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with modern CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence and build trust with executive stakeholders
Preferred Skills / Abilities
- High emotional intelligence and ability to adapt to diverse client personas
- Experience selling managed IT services, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructure solutions
- Capable of developing and nurturing a performance-driven sales culture
- Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is a plus
Metrics for Success
- Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales quota
- Increase close rate % and reduce average sales cycle time over 2 quarters
- Achieve >90% client satisfaction score in post-sale onboarding handoff
